Delta: daily flight from Boston to Athens

Delta Air Lines has announced the expansion of its daily Boston – Athens flight for the summer season of 2024 following the great success of the route this year. The American airline, includes in its flight schedule 3 additional flights from Boston to the Greek capital, instead of the four it had this year. The route started in the summer of 2022 with three weekly flights. The flights will become daily possibly from May to August 2024.

The decision was made after the flights in the last two years were considered particularly successful. According to data from Athens International Airport, the direct Boston – Athens service recorded 33,900 passengers between May and October 2022. For 2023, from May to August, passenger traffic increased correspondingly by 64% to 34,500 passengers through August. Delta Air Lines operates A330-900 neo aircraft.
