This remarkable achievement was proudly accepted by Nikos Karalekas, the deputy head of the Greek embassy in Stockholm, and Maria Zevgoula, the deputy head of the Greek National Tourism Organization service in Scandinavia. The significance of this win is magnified by the fact that it is the first time in 30 years that Greece has clinched this particular award at the GTA, an institution organized by the professional website Travel News for the past 32 years and recognized as the most important annual gathering in the Swedish tourism industry.
